Again a mixed bag for Coach Patterson come game time Thurs...Cass and Dougie there ,Kevin-Braun not...Even on a ideal day dip -shit has a terrible time assembling a line-up but this is impossible on KManuel...A roster 0f 15 and 9-10 players at 6:30 is quite annoying...The other team was having a full team practice and were parking lot scanning...Had the 2 Fred"s and Mark not been picked up there would have been 4 forfeits...There was I thought a team wide excitement in joining this Smitty endorsed lge..yet weekly its a struggle to get 10 players..I surely hope things straighten out soon/quickly ....
Kudos to Dougie on the catch of the year over the left field fence and a couple nice bad hopped plays by Juddy...
Though no one stars in a sweep here's your Johnny G 3 stars of the day..
3)Glea---several hard hit balls and made all the plays in the OF...
2)Fred Sr-- Good at bats/Pitched well/Did decent job playing in an undermanned OF
Juddy---Gave up his body on "D" stopping several bad hop grounders..Nice bases clearing blast in game 2...Kids a gamer..
